Neem-enhanced Jeevamrutham

Hereโ€™s the Jeevamrutham preparation plan for 24 beds of leafy vegetables (each bed: 4 ft ร— 250 ft), including dosage, ingredients, and optional termite control enhancements.

๐Ÿ“ Total Cultivation Area

  • 1 bed = 4 ft ร— 250 ft = 1,000 sq ft
  • 24 beds = 24,000 sq ft (~0.55 acre)

๐Ÿงช JEEVAMRUTHAM PREPARATION FOR 24 BEDS

โœ… Ingredients for 240 liters (sufficient for 24 beds)

Ingredient Quantity Purpose
Desi cow dung (fresh) 20 kg Provides beneficial microbes
Cow urine (fresh) 20 liters Natural urea, microbial activator
Jaggery 2 kg Energy source for microbes
Gram flour (besan) 2 kg Protein to boost microbial growth
Soil from healthy tree base/farm 800 g โ€“ 1 kg Adds native beneficial microbes
Water 240 liters Medium for fermentation

๐Ÿ“Œ Use one drums 200 liters

๐Ÿงด Preparation Steps

  1. Mix all ingredients thoroughly in the water drum.
  2. Cover with a cloth (not a lid).
  3. Ferment for 2โ€“3 days, stirring 2โ€“3 times a day.
  4. Keep in shade.

๐ŸŒฟ Optional: Anti-Termite Enhancement

Add these on Day 2 or before fermenting:

  • Neem cake powder โ€“ 2 to 4 kg
  • Garlic paste โ€“ 1 kg

This boosts the termite-repellent and soil-healing properties.

๐Ÿ’ง APPLICATION PER 24 BEDS

  • Be placed lower than or level with the pipe, so the venturi can suck it in.

  • Have filtered Jeevamrutham (strain through a fine cloth or nylon mesh) to avoid small blockages in the injector.

  • Be connected to the suction line of the venturi properly sealed.

  • This should be done once in a 15 days.
  • Cover with gunny bags for air flow.
  • Excess neem cake can damage the young seedlings or will reduce the germination rate.
  • Before seeding/sowing we can use dung+urine (20Kgs:20Kgs) with neem cake 10kgs if termites are more.
  • During germination time: avoid neem cake and garlic paste and CDU(10+10)

โš ๏ธ Notes:

  • Do not store more than 7 days.
  • Smell should be sweet-earthy. Discard if it smells foul.
  • Shake well before use.
