Arsenic : seafood, rice, rice cereal (and other rice products), mushrooms, and poultry
General Info:
Permissible Arsenic levels in water are : 10Micrograms/Liter or 10PPB. RO filters helps to clean the water from arsenic.
Arsenic compounds can be found in organic (when linked with carbon and hydrogen) and inorganic (when combined with oxygen, chlorine, and sulfur, among other elements). Arsenic has no odor, no color,no flavor.
Aresenic Sources : seafood, rice, rice cereal (and other rice products), mushrooms, and poultry, air (coal-fired power generation)
Food Preparation method to avoid arsenic impact:
bring water to the boil (four cups of fresh water for every cup of raw rice). Then, add rice and boil for another 5 minutes. Next, discard the water (which has now removed much of the arsenic that was in the rice), and add more fresh water (two cups for each cup of rice). Finally, cover the rice with a lid, and cook on a low to medium heat until the water has been absorbed. [REF-SCIENCE]
Arsenic Exposure and the Induction of Human Cancers
Cellular induced damage derived from arsenic biotransformation leading to carcinogenic processes have usually been described to occur through oxidative stress by generation of toxic species, such as reactive oxygen species (ROS) leading to genomic aberrations. Generation of ROS has been described as one of the earliest and most important mechanisms of arsenic-induced carcinogenicity [86–91]. Oxidative damage (measured as guanine oxidation) is significantly associated with skin tumors associated with arsenic exposure [92, 93]. It has also been shown that oxidative stress can modify gene transcription profiles of human hyperkeratosis, affecting several cancer-relevant pathways, such as the Wnt/β-catenin and calcium signaling pathways [94, 95]. Both single- and double DNA strand breaks are characteristic of most cancer types and have been shown to be induced by chronic arsenic exposure, even at low concentrations [ REF-NCBI]
Arsenic Detoxification :
garlic and onions both contain sulfur, which helps the liver detoxify itself. It is great for arsenic detox, as well as for lead detox. Garlic promotes the liver to produce detoxification enzymes which help filter toxins from the digestive system.

Acrylamide : Acid induced while cooking high carbs foods at higher temp
Acrylamide is more likely to accumulate when cooking is done for longer periods or at higher temperatures especially those foods have high carbohydrates. More than 120degrees. Acrylamide is found mainly in foods made from plants, such as potato products, grain products, or coffee. Acrylamide does not form at lower levels temperatures in dairy, meat, and fish products.
Methods To Reduce Acrylamide: Boiling and steaming do not typically form acrylamide. Avoiding fries and cooking more than 120degress temperature.
Detoxification from Acrylamide:
Since we can’t avoid eating acrylamide generated high carbohydrated foods in our life style(nuggets, spring rolls, french fries), But can be compensated by following healthy diet chart : Fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and fat-free or low-fat milk and milk products; includes lean meats, poultry, fish, beans, eggs, and nuts; and limits saturated fats, trans fats, cholesterol, salt (sodium) and added sugars.
Acrylamide is produced industrially for use in products such as plastics, grouts, water treatment products, and cosmetics. Acrylamide is also found in cigarette smoke.
How it causes to cancer: acrylamide is converted to a compound called glycidamide, which causes mutations in and damage to DNA
